FORMING & CUTTING MACHINE FOR TAB-PACK COMPONENTS WITH 3 TO 7 LEADS

The Streckfuss model C068 is designed to cut and form the leads of tab-pack
components with 3 to 7 leads for vertical or horizontal mounting. A wide variety of form
shapes are available through the use of interchangeable die sets and feed magazines.
The feed magazines are configured for tubed components. Tooling changes can be
done quickly and easily making the C068 ideal for high mix production environments.

OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION:

Components are loaded into the feed magazine and indexed
into forming position one at a time. Once in position the
component leads are clamped securely to eliminate stress.
The forming dies are then advanced to form the leads to the
specified configuration. After the leads have been formed the
cutting blade is advanced to cut them to length. Once formed
and cut the component is gravity fed into a tube for collection.
